| The Resort Matheran |
When life gives you lemons, I say that you make lemonade, so when an annual trip with the extended family came up, I decided to pull out all stops and book us into a resort so that at least we could enjoy the stay. See, by extended family I mean the entire lot of cousins and uncles and aunts, whom you might not even have said hello to in the past whole year! So, as you can tell, I wasn’t very excited about the reunion. But I had been to Matheran, and I was looking forward to spending time in the amazingly beautiful Adamo Resort Matheran Village, which I had heard a lot about. We were all going to foot our own bills, so not many were happy with being booked into a resort, but on reaching that little slice of heaven, they all realized how amazing the place was and for an amount that did not burn a hole in our pockets.
Their facilities were top notch, as far as luxury resorts go, and I guess that is why they are touted to be one of the best resorts near Alexander Point, Matheran. I enjoyed spending time by the pool a lot, and the views there were to kill for. But I think the best part of our stay there was that this resort boasts of one of the best restaurants in Matheran. They served the best delicacies from all over the world, and I was completely perplexed by their huge variety of dishes.
